Thanks to Rebecca Liggins, I've found these brilliant animations. I'm not overly keen on the red theme they've got going on, but it does really work for these animations. The effects are brilliant, i'm not sure what software this was created in, but some don't seem like they would be that hard to create in After Effects.

Grr browser just ate my comment so have to rewrite....
...yes it was an after effects jaunt when we learning it on off own backs. The animations were around a project called "heartlines" so that is why we went with the red. Plus the saul bass animations these were based on were generally presented in one colour. Totally, technically they are pretty easy to do, just gotta have an eye for a good visual style and good storyboard me thinks. But many thanks for the kind words and thanks for google alert for bringing me here.
